Job Description:
iostudio is seeking a talented, curious and conceptual Creative Director. You have a solid background as a copywriter in the traditional ad world, but you’ve already made the transition into digital media. You should be positive, intuitive and strategic in your thinking. Your portfolio should speak for itself. You’ve already amassed a collection of meaningful national-level awards, but you still have room on your shelf for more.
In this position, you will help define the creative vision of the agency, working closely with account, creative and management teams to provide strategy and creative leadership for clients and the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with our Executive Creative Director to manage key administrative and financial aspects of the creative department.
- Supervise, support and inspire a creative team. Allocate appropriate personnel for all creative assignments.
- Have effective and professional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate ideas to clients, vendors, team members and others in a clear and concise manner.
- Monitor overall quality of agency creative output and provide direction and leadership.
- Foster positive relationships between the creative department and other agency functional areas. Encourage strong collaborative relationships with account management and project management, as well as clients.
- Constantly work to improve communications and processes necessary for optimum creative output.
- Be responsible for awareness and communication of creative successes, both internally and externally.
- Stay a student of the industry—continue to stay abreast of current trends, technology, styles, etc.
- Possess a positive, demonstrable track record in the development of successful, market-moving creative ideas. Have strong strategic instincts.
- Participate in new business activities as assigned.
- Represent iostudio in a professional manner with all client leadership, vendors and staff.
- Complete and submit daily time reports.
- Occasional overnight travel possible.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 7 years’ advertising agency experience with strong credentials in copywriting.
- Strong creative presentation skills.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, counseling and, above all, leadership skills. Assist teams with prioritization, organization and scheduling assignments.
- Must be able to direct print, broadcast and interactive projects within a broad range of media outlets.
- Must be proficient in using Macintosh equipment.
- Strong proficiency in the Adobe Suite, as well as capabilities in the production of other media products, e.g., broadcast, video, interactive.
- Ability to switch quickly and comfortably between projects as determined by client need, work effectively with other team members, and maintain positive morale and a sense of teamwork.
- Learn and abide by the operating policies and procedures of iostudio.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check as per the iostudio handbook guidelines.
